My first foray into event planning really began when I threw my parents a surprise off-site 25th wedding anniversary party - before I was old enough to drive or hold a job (not recommended!). But, it was that childhood experience that sparked my passion for all things festive; something that has only been reinforced by my love of beauty, God’s plan for the covenant of marriage, and of course - food (hence the name!).
Professionally speaking, my background is in interior design, merchandising, and business; to which I’ve added additional study in event planning & management. On a personal level, I love to work with color and enjoy a design challenge. One of my favorite parts of being a Virginia wedding planner is getting to participate in the excitement of your special moment. So, whether you’re looking for full-scale planning or just being able to count on someone to take care of the logistics, I’m up for it and I can’t wait to hear from you!
